About Amy

Dr. Amy Slama is a residency-trained optometrist in ocular disease and refractive surgery. A Minnesota native from Winnebago, she graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Slama received her doctorate degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She has completed her advanced training in the treatment and management of ocular disease, post-operative care, refractive surgery, laser surgery, ocular injections, and minor lid procedures from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. She specializes in the treatment of cornea, dry eye, and lid disease while managing diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and laser patients. Dr. Slama will be joining our clinic in June 2021.
